Education Consultant – Graduate Certificate in Developmental Trauma (GCDT)
The Australian Childhood Foundation is a national leader in trauma-informed practice, education and capacity building. We work to improve outcomes for children and young people who have experienced abuse, neglect and family violence through evidence-informed services, learning and advocacy.
We are seeking an Education Consultant to support delivery of our Graduate Certificate in Developmental Trauma (11390NAT), an AQF Level 8 accredited course delivered through blended and online learning.
This role sits within our Knowledge Mobilisation and Practice division and works closely with educators, practitioners, subject matter experts and people with lived experience.
About the role
This role supports the coordination, delivery and continuous improvement of accredited and unaccredited training programs. The focus is on high-quality online delivery, assessment, and student support, ensuring compliance with RTO and ASQA requirements while maintaining a strong trauma-informed lens.
You will work as part of a virtual team and collaborate across the Foundation as required.
Key responsibilities
About you
You are an experienced educator or practitioner with a strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and the VET sector. You are organised, responsive and comfortable working in a remote environment.
You will have:
Shortlisted applicants will be required to complete an equivalency matrix confirming the required industry competencies and currency to deliver the Graduate Certificate in Developmental Trauma.
